Art Zone staff are experienced youth workers and qualified arts practitioners.

Art Zone is available at the following locatoins

Brook Club

Art Club

Thursday 5.30pm - 8.00pm

Recycle Bike Project

Tuesday's 4pm - 6pm

(please book as spaces are limited)

Hilsea Youth Club

Tuesday 6pm - 8.30pm

and

Alternate Mondays 6pm - 9pm (LDD Group)

Portsea Youth Club @ John Pounds Centre

Alternate Monday evenings 6pm - 9pm

 

Access

Just turn up at the club on the night. Some groups are for specific needs - LDD (learning disabilities and difficulties), for example.

Daytime Sessions

For specific sessoins tailored to fit the needs of your group please contact Chris on the numbers listed below. There is no wheelchair access to the art studio at the Brook club, however activities can usually be conducted in other parts of the centre that can accomodate wheel chair access.

Arts Award

The Art Zone offers the opportunity for young people to engage in Arts Award, a nationally recognised qualification requiring participants to make personal progress in any field of art that appeals to them. it requires a certain level of commitment from participants and will develop 4 aspects of a young persons art practice.

Other Information

The Art Zone has worked with a variety of groups, projects and activities which can be tailored to specific group needs offering the opportunity for self expression, personal growth and reflection.
